Trackhouse Racing team sponsor Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge has taken naming rights on the #97 for the first time this season.
The brand has been a long-term supporter of Trackhouse, having backed Ross Chastain, Connor Zilisch, and former driver Daniel Suarez in seasons past.
The June 1 (AEST) race will be the first time van Gisbergen has worn the purple and black livery.
Tootsies is an iconic Nashville watering hole, famous for its purple paint job and a regular haunt for performers like Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson.
The honky tonk bar has operated almost non-stop since 1960 and is located in the heart of Music City’s Lower Broadway
Hattie Louise “Tootsie” Bess bought the lounge formerly known as Mom’s. When a painter mistakenly dressed the bar in orchid purple, the name Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge was born.
Van Gisbergen heads to Nashville riding a wave of confidence with arguably his best result of the season.
He sits 14th in the standings after scoring stage points in the first three legs of the Coca-Cola 600 en route to 11th at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
